Students: Rules & Regulation

  Rules & Regulation Although discipline cannot be contained in a few days but yet the following rules are set to guide what can should or must be done or not be done to maintain discipline. Students should be usually clean and neatly dressed whether in or outside the college. Students who are without uniform and whose general appearance does not reflect well with regulations may be detained from attending classes. Unauthorized absence or irregularity, habitual late coming disobedience or objectionable behavior of any kind may result in expulsion of the student from the college. Care should be taken to keep the surroundings clean, waste paper and litter should be consigned to dustbin. Defacing walls is prohibited. Damaging or destroying College & Hospital property either wilfully or negligently by any student shall attract severe punishment and reparation of damage by the parents concerned.   Facilities Clinical Facility A 100 Bed Hospital with adequate staff, pathological lab, X-ray and other equipment, Operation Theatrewith wards in the I.P.D. /O.P.D. is available for treatment of patients through ayurveda. A complete unit of Panchkarma is established under Dept. of Panchakarma. Labs & Library All the Laboratories relating to their respective subjects namely Physiology, Pathology, Anatomy, Toxicology, Dravyaguna, Rasashastra etc. are well equipped. The library subscribes for a good number of medical journals, magazines and periodicals. It is well managed with books on Ayurveda and Modern. The Library has a capacity to accommodate hundred students and there is extra space available for reading room. Pharmacy The College has well established Pharmacy according to NCISM norms and is being run under the supervision of experts and experienced staff.   Infrastructre Hospital Infrastructre Bapu Ayurvedic Medical College is associated with a 100 bedded hospital with all required equipment and facilities. The campus has engaged a specialist doctor for medical aid 24x7. We also have arrangement with the nearby Prakash Hospital(100 Bedded Modern Hospital)with all Modern facilities for emergencies treatment. A dedicated room has been provided in the campus with first aid facilities which functions as health center if and when immediate medical attention is required. Necessary treatment is provided at this center by trained persons. Hospital has 08 separate OPD of different specialties of Ayurveda with all required amenities. IPD facilities with 24X7 caring staff availability. Departments

  Different departments at Bapu Ayurvedic College & Hospital Samhita & Siddhanta The department offers the subjects Ashtanga Hdaya, Padartha Vijnana, Ayurveda Ithihasa, Charaka Samhita and Sanskrit. The goal of the department is to provide conceptual knowledge in fundamental principles of Ayurvedic science correlating with modern medical science. Kriya Sharir The subject deals with all physiological functions of the human body. This indicates an important step in the practical training of investigations such as that of blood, urine, stool etc. along with assessment of Prakriti, Doshik status etc. The department also encompasses ample inputs from modern neurology, gastro enterology, respiratory physiology, the cardiovascular system, genitourinary system and endocrine system so that a global outlook regarding the science of physiology is received by the students. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION IN BAMS The eligibility criteria to seek admission in Bachelor of Ayurveda education is as under :- 1.) 12th standard with science or any other equivalent examination recognized by concerned State Government and Recognized Education Boards/ University with at least 50% aggregate marks in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology. 2.) For reserved category or special category like physically handicapped student in 10+2 they shall be given relaxation in marks for admission in Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery as per rules for time being in force of U.P. Govt. 3.) Foreign students having passed eligibility criteria of Govt. of India, Ministry of AYUSH /NCISM or any other equivalent qualification as permitted by Govt. of India, U.P.
